Making Herbal Remedies at Home

Learn to confidently create safe and effective herbal remedies at home.

Join us for a virtual workshop exploring all of the ways you can make safe, effective herbal remedies at home - from soothing syrups for sore throats and coughs, to herbal salves for bumps and minor wounds.. I will be in my kitchen demonstrating various methods and techniques as I share information about safety, dosage, preservation and other helpful tips and tricks that I have learned through my years as both a clinical practitioner and busy wife and mom. 

Topics include: 

~ Making tinctures with alcohol, glycerine or vinegar 

~ The best way I’ve found to make an infused oil with dried and fresh herbs

~ Seamlessly incorporating herbal remedies into your daily life

~ Which herbs like which preparations, and how to tell 

~ Three different water preparations {herbal tea, nourishing infusion, and herbal washes}

~ Understanding safe dosages and contraindications 

Each attendee will receive a pdf handout with recipes, instructions, techniques, blank forms, and helpful charts.
